STREET LIGHT INFORMATION:
If you notice a street light out in your area, first, check the top
of the light fixture. If the fixture has a "red cap" on top of it,
the light was deliberately shut off. If the light does not have a
red cap, you can report it to National Grid. Please click the link

Waste Disposal:
Effective May 1, 2004. Yard waste may be taken to the
composting facility located off Mill Street in Blackstone adjacent
to the Paul S. Kelly Sports Complex. Mill Street is the first right
after the Allied Waste Transfer Station on Canal Street (end of
River Street). The yard waste facility can be accessed on Wednesdays
from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM.
In order to use this facility a sticker must be obtained from the
Public Works Department. Your vehicle registration as well as your
driver's license will be needed to verify City residency.
Hazardous Waste Disposal:
To dispose of household hazardous waste, such as
oil-based paint, solvents, propane tanks, etc. please follow the
