Used Motor Oil Disposal:

The City no longer accepts used motor oil. Please follow this link to find out how to dispose of your used motor oil.

 

Yard Waste Disposal: 

Effective May 1, 2004. Yard waste may be taken to the composting facility located off Mill Street in Blackstone adjacent to the Paul S. Kelly Sports Complex. Mill Street is the first right after the BFI Transfer Station on Canal Street (end of River Street). The yard waste facility can be accessed on Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM.  In order to use this facility a sticker must be obtained from the Public Works Department. Your vehicle registration as well as your driver's license will be needed to verify City residency.  Please see the following press release for full details.
