Curbside pickup of yard waste has resumed and will continue until
Friday, June 21, 2013.
The yard waste disposal site in Blackstone, MA has
reopened for the season. A
sticker from the public works department is required to
drop off yard waste.

The City’s Recycle Drop-Off Center located at 943
River Street (at the Highway Garage), has containers for
residents to properly dispose of, FREE of charge,
recyclable items such as:
- Paper, cardboard (newspapers,
catalogs)
- Commingle (1, 2, 3, 5 & 7 plastics,
bottles, cans)

Metals (steel, aluminum, cast
iron, copper)

Mattresses / box springs (with
sticker from Public Works)

Appliances
- Books (CDs, VHS tapes)

Propane tanks

Styrofoam
- Vegetable oil
- Clothes/Shoes

- Plastic toys
